Dr Javid Mustafa

Dr Javid Mustafa is a highly accomplished Specialist Prosthodontist with advanced experience in restorative dentistry, dental implants, oral surgery and complex multidisciplinary rehabilitation. His extensive surgical training, combined with specialist prosthodontic qualifications, enables him to provide comprehensive care for patients with both routine and highly complex restorative needs.

Dr Mustafa graduated with distinction in Clinical Dentistry from the Royal London Hospital in 2000. He subsequently undertook postgraduate surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, gaining extensive experience in the management of head and neck pathology, facial trauma, cancer surgery, congenital and acquired facial deformities, and the care of medically compromised patients. During this period, he held Senior House Officer appointments at the Royal Hospital Haslar and St George’s Hospital.

In 2003, Dr Mustafa was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh before joining the Restorative Dentistry Department at Guy’s Hospital. He was subsequently selected for specialist training in Prosthodontics at the internationally renowned Eastman Dental Institute, where he completed his Master of Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in Prosthodontics.

Following completion of specialist training, Dr Mustafa was awarded Membership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD) and later the prestigious Fellowship in Dental Surgery (FDS) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He also serves as an Honorary Lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, reflecting his ongoing commitment to postgraduate education and professional development.

Dr Mustafa is recognised as a Registered Specialist in Prosthodontics by the General Dental Council. His clinical practice encompasses advanced restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, dental implant rehabilitation and associated bone grafting procedures, providing comprehensive care for complex restorative and multidisciplinary cases.
