Dr Sarah Good

Dr Sarah Good is a highly respected Specialist Orthodontist and Consultant Orthodontist with extensive experience in the treatment of children, adolescents and adults. She has particular experience in the management of complex multidisciplinary cases, including patients requiring restorative dentistry, orthognathic (jaw) surgery and cleft care.

Dr Good qualified from Guy’s Dental Hospital (UMDS) in 1997 before gaining valuable hospital experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Medicine. Following postgraduate examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons, she returned to Guy’s in 2000 to undertake a three-year full-time specialist training programme in Orthodontics across Guy’s and Kingston Hospitals.

She was awarded a Master of Science in Orthodontics from the University of London together with Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, leading to her recognition as a Specialist Orthodontist in 2003.

Dr Good continued her advanced training at Great Ormond Street Hospital and The Royal London Hospital, completing her Fellowship in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. This led to her appointment as an NHS Consultant Orthodontist. After serving as Consultant Orthodontist at King’s College Hospital between 2006 and 2010, she was appointed Consultant Orthodontist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, where she continues to practise as Lead Consultant Orthodontist within the Evelina London Cleft Service.

Alongside her consultant practice, Dr Good has taught postgraduate orthodontists since 2003 and regularly lectures at both national and international orthodontic meetings. She has published widely within the speciality and was awarded the Best Clinical Paper at the British Orthodontic Conference in 2024 in recognition of her contribution to orthodontic research.

Dr Good has also provided specialist orthodontic care in private practice in Central London for more than 17 years. She enjoys treating patients of all ages using both fixed orthodontic appliances and clear aligner systems. Working closely with restorative dentists, oral surgeons and other specialists, she develops bespoke treatment plans to achieve outstanding functional and aesthetic outcomes for even the most complex cases.
